Excursions

Does anyone have feedback/experience with excursions on Riviera Transatlantic? Also, general observations about the ship.

Do you have specific  concerns about the ship?

Sorry. I know it is broad but we do not have details yet. No concerns about the ship just wondering about others feedback. We have not used Oceania before.

A beautiful ship.  I really enjoyed taking the audio art tour which you can obtain from Guest Services, together with a map indicating the stops.  There is some terrific art by Cuban artists, including my favorite, the late Wilfredo Lam.

If you are lucky enough to stop in Funchal Madeira, the cable car up to Monte and the "toboggan" ride back down is not to be missed. Check Youtube!

Riviera is my favorite ship - the only one I'd consider for a TA.  Small enough to get to know others, but large enough not to be bored by many sea days.  Also (having cruised in really bad weather) large enough to feel comfortable in rough seas.  We cruised Greece last Oct on Riviera, and will return to visit Spain in June.

There won't be many excursions on the Transatlantic part.

We are lucky, we will have 7 excursions. There are 5 around the Med and 2 in the Caribbean
