Just returned from Majesty of the Seas - any questions?

I have the impression that the Majesty of the Seas is old.  Cabin reviews show a few problems.  Is that fair, or has it been renovated recently?

 

I'm considering an Ocean View cabin on deck 9.  Celebrity would be one of their "Aqua" class cabins.

 

My partner and I are flexible, but we are foodies and want decent if not excellent food.  We drink but not enough to make a drink package worthwhile.

Ocean view cabins on deck 9 are the old SO cabins. They are normal size and a nice layout. But they will have the life boats from the deck below. Doesn't really obstruct the view except straight down.
