Cruisin 4 Ever Posted April 21, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 21, 2019 I am taking a cruise in a few months with 4 ports I've never been to so I really need help figuring out what to do at each port since it will be too expensive to book excursions for all the ports through the cruiseline. any information about whether there are things to do within walking distance of getting off the ship or must do excursions would be great. Antigua Barbados St. Kitts Castries, St. Lucia. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
JohninDC Posted April 21, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 21, 2019 A little reading down the board will tell you that there are several beach clubs in the Carlilse Bay area near the port that offer amenities, chsirs, umbrellas, etc. Some include or offer a boat tour to snorkel over a ship wreck and then swim with the turtles. Check out Boatyard, Harbor Lights, Pirates Cove, and Lobster Alive. All are about a $5 per person can from the port of you can walk there in about 20+ minutes. For a bit more $ you can take a half day catamaran tour, with opportunities to swim with the turtles; most include lunch, drinks, etc. Check Silver Moon, Calabeza, and others. Aplmac Posted April 25, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 25, 2019 OR just take a general island tour, and see lots of different stuff. That's hard to beat if you haven't been to a destination before. .

sunshine55 Posted June 16, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2019 The Elegance in Barbados is a great way to spend the day. It's a great day on the catamaran and includes drinks, lunch and van to and from dock. Only takes 14 passengers..

Another vote for Elegance, the best operator for your private charter for that special occasion.
