Did you (or your wife) tell them that it was your birthday, or did they bring you the cake on their own?  I'm curious, since I'll be celebrating my birthday on the Breakaway in a month, and wondered if they would do anything if I didn't say anything!

Have you seen any information & cost for the new show that will be in the dinner theater?  I think it is called 'Velvet'.   It is supposed to be replacing the Cirque dinner show that ran for several years.

Also, if you happen to go by the casino (or spend time there!) I would love to see some pictures of their newer slot machines.

I try to click on the link on my reservation for August 11th, and it comes to a broken link.  Does anyone know when they plan on rolling this show out??

I sail in 4 weeks, and for me Velvet is listed as $24.99, but that it has to be booked onboard.

Decided to hit the welcome aboard late show. 

The haven has there own dedicated section. I see a lot of noses in the air... snoots!

My go to beer. After only getting 4 hours of sleep I'm hanging in. Fell asleep on the bed while my wife changed.

Was very disappointed with the wings. They were tiny, overcooked. The food looked rushed tonight. Just bad for the only place to eat on the ship later at night. 

 

Service wasn't very good either. They have maybe 3 servers who are overworked and serving 15 tables. We didn't get drinks until almost 10 minutes after ordering.  Let me note this was water she was bringing as stated when she first arrived. 

 

The place was packed. Clearly not staffed well... ever. Bartenders need to learn drink recipes correctly.

You can select dietary needs or special occasions.

The free wifi we got when booking isn't very good compared to the one you purchase. We've noticed you have to be in the ship for service. On your balcony or the waterfront and you get none. Just a heads up to everyone.  Better than none I guess.

I am obsessively following your live review, because we are considering the Breakaway in September. Sorry you had such a disappointing experience at O'sheehan's. I was on the Escape a couple of weeks ago and the wings were HUGE, but maybe the two ships have a different supplier since they are sailing out of different ports?

 

The breakfast buffet in Moderno looks like an excellent alternative to the crowds in the Garden Cafe. Do the also have a mini-buffet set up in Margaritaville in the mornings like in the Escape and Bliss?

The daily posted from Day 2 shows 8-10 for Margaritaville, hope to use it next week for breakfast.  I wonder when Moderno is open for breakfast if you can utilize the seating on the Waterfront?

You can! People were eating out there.
