Many people can't walk long distances, but can still enjoy the venues.

Artemus Posted May 2, 2019 Author #4 Share Posted May 2, 2019 I hope so. I hope the trams will run out to the ship. That pier looks pretty long‼️
OCruisers Posted May 2, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 2, 2019 Really hope so too. Walking down a long pier can tire you out before you get there.
gaylemh Posted May 2, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 2, 2019 When I was there the week of 4/6 there were trams going around the island, but they started after you walked the long pier.

The new pier is not any different than many other port piers, in terms of length. In fact, we've seen much longer in some of the European ports. If folks can't make it to the tram at the island end of the pier...they likely will struggle getting around on the island as well...and waiting for trams to get around (with literally thousands of other passengers disembarked on Coco Cay) will certainly take up a good amount of time.
atb Posted May 2, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 2, 2019 they definitely need benches along the pier. It is a very long walk, with no way to rest, before you get to the tram area.
neverbeenhere Posted May 2, 2019 #9 Share Posted May 2, 2019 I would hope to save all my energy for the activities on the island, so if I can recruit a couple of fellow passengers to carry me, I would really appreciate it. 👿
