Carnival Breeze cabin 2338

A cove balcony is one that is sheltered, sort of cut into the hull of the ship, rather than tacked onto the outside.  The wall will be mostly metal.  It is on a lower deck, closer to the water.  More important than noise from elevators is location...what is above you.  If you cabin is under the galley you will have noise that is worse than anything from elevators. The elevators do not open directly across from your cabin....you will enter the elevators at the center of the foyer....so elevator noise won''t be an issue.
