winterblue Posted May 26, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 26, 2019 Sorry for basic questions, but I just can't seem to dig this out. This is a company trip, so I have not personally spoken to an RC agent. I see all these packages for meal plans. Is there a main dining room open for all meals that is part of our fare? And/or a buffet? Is it really needed to eat in a specialty restaurant? And on CoCo Can....are there just chairs on the beach to use or do you have to purchase this special day thing? And I assume there is lunch on the island? We have enjoyed cruising Carnival, and are l9king forward to experiencing a different line/ship....just trying to figure out details! Thanks.... Winterblue Main dining room and the buffet are complimentary on all ships. On some ships there is also a Solarium Bistro that is complimentary CocoCay has beach chairs free of charge and there are several places for free lunch. Sancho_proudfoot Posted May 27, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2019 If you choose to eat in a specialty restaurant there is a fee. You can have a great cruise, with good food without ever entering a specialty eatery.
gatour Posted May 27, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 27, 2019 Depending on the ship there are multiple venues for food included in the price of the cruise.
winterblue Posted May 28, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted May 28, 2019 Thanks! I was beginning to worry that "the main dining room" style of cruising was no longer a thing.
