Drbonney Posted May 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 27, 2019 My wife and I are taking our first cruise this fall. We are sailing on the Carnival Horizon on October 13/2019. We would love to talk to anyone else taking that cruise. We are so excited and have so many questions. So if anyone has any advice that they think would be of help, feel free. By the way my name is Dwight and my wife is Betty. Also I am mobility challenged so any advice there would be of help too.
hallux Posted May 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2019 Looks like there's a roll call for your cruise, that would be the best way to connect with others on here that are on the same cruise - CARNIVAL HORIZON OCTOBER 13, 2019 ROLL CALL
AF-1 Posted May 27, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 27, 2019 Jump on the roll call mentioned above; and also depending on your itinerary; you can also check out the port of call boards; that way you can find info on all the different ports you will be visiting
cb at sea Posted May 27, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 27, 2019 Definitely research your ports....either google or a guidebook. The more you know, the better time you will have. If you will need wheelchair or scooter, there are companies that rent them for use on the ship. If you are unable to walk, you will likely need a HC cabin. They go fast, tho. There is a board on this site...."Cruising with a disability"....that may be helpful to you.
