capriccio Posted May 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 27, 2019 Since you haven't received any responses, I suggest posting this on the Princess board if you haven't already. https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/119-princess-cruises/
Rare geoherb Posted May 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted May 28, 2019 We're not heavy breakfast eaters. I brought some dried fruit, nuts, and breakfast bars for our breakfasts. The only time DH complained was when we took the train from Fairbanks to Denali. I figured we saved over $100 by bringing food for our own breakfasts. Here's a link to a sample menu at one of the Princess lodges: https://www.princesslodges.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/KS-Breakfast-2018-FINAL-GFed.pdf
Northern Aurora Posted May 28, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 28, 2019 Which Princess Lodges will you be at? Both the Denali Princess and the McKinley Princess have both served breakfasts in their dining rooms, and also coffee cart offerings with muffins and pastries. WisCruiser2 Posted June 2, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 2, 2019 Breakfasts (unless you just want a pastry) are served in the dining rooms, toast, English muffins were available if you don't want a big breakfast. We ate dinners in the bar/grill at the lodges. You can split sandwiches, get a cup of soup, etc. In Fairbanks, we splurged and ate at the Pump House and then at Chena's Alaskan Grill as that lodge was really busy! As mentioned above, you can access menus at princesslodges.com for each of the lodges. That helped me to plan out our budget for food.
