Hotels inCapeTown

We are  doing a cruise out of CapeTown in April 2020 &I would be grateful for any suggestions for an hotel in the centre city. Many thanks

I highly recommend the Victoria & Albert.  It is in the middle of everything.  I suggest you go on the Ports of Call section and search there as well.

Definitely the Victoria &Albert, it is located near all the fun and great restaurants.  You can just walk out and enjoy all the street performers.

Capetown is great....... have fun.

V&A is good for location wise.  But overrated and overpriced.  Loft rooms are horrible.

Table Bay is a better choice IMO.

More expensive but worth every penny imo is the Cape Grace.

Another option in the Victoria & Albert Waterfront area is the Queen Victoria.  It is a smaller, boutique hotel.  We really enjoyed our stay there a few years ago.

I've stayed at The Portswood V&A Waterfront several times and would stay with them again. I really like the location. I will add the caveat that my last visit was 10 years ago.
