Drink package for only one in a room

Recommended Posts

Not according to current Royal practices.  Best you can do is get Deluxe yourself and a Refreshment package for your husband.  Plus, you have to call to do this, it cannot be done on Royal's website.

I have heard if you can prove a medical issue they will sell it to one person only.  I'm sure if you call they can give you the details.  Also there have been numerous reports of buying it on board for one person in a cabin.  No options for booking online in advance for one though.

Still thought you had to buy Deluxe Drink package for everybody in cabin, not just one..

You do if you order via the website, but calling can get different results.

AAA is my TA, Adventure is planned for January.  Yesterday I spoke with RCI and discussed that I wanted to have refreshment package for my father it is medically necessary that he have bottled water and the three of us are going to take the coffee and tapwater option.

Although I might have three alcoholic drinks a day, most likely only one and always milk with meals.  (I probably have 20 alcoholic beverages a year normally)  I like top shelf brandy and top shelf tequila, but can be enticed by a ships Drink of The Day occasionally.

My daughter, 19, can only have mock-tails,  usually drinks tapwater and tea.   She will probably have three mock-tails a day and no soda.

Moms max is three drinks per day,  spread overtime on special occasions.  So on a six day trip I imagine she’ll have between 10 and 15 alcoholic drinks and no soda.

Dad drinks bottled water(medically necessary), soda, and one or two Apple Ale Products.  I imagine he’ll have between 6 and 12 alcoholic drinks and soda.

Drink package doesn’t work for most of us.  I figure it’s going to cost us the same as if we paid for a package but we’re just going to go top shelf.

There is no requirement for everyone on the room to purchase a non alcoholic drink package.  It is only the alcohol package where this is a requirement.  You could have done everything that you did on line,

We discussed getting the alcohol package for my mom because she would also enjoy rail drinks, fresh juices and bottled water (not because it’s medically necessary).  This way she could have fancy coffees and juice and all the pina-coladas that she wanted.  I’m hoping there’s a coffee package on our ship for me,  I like iced coffee in the morning.

You can purchase a coffee card, either through your Cruise Planner or once you are on board.  All reports have been that the price never varies.  (so no advantage to either point of purchase)

The same $31/15 drinks coffee card is available in the planner usually. You need to ask before you buy if they use more than one punch for any of the drinks you want otherwise the card may not make sense for you.
