vamom76 Posted June 23, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 23, 2019 Hubby and I are going on the Dawn in less than 2 weeks! We were talking today and cannot remember if Bamboo is only open on Sea Days - and only for dinner? Can someone help jog our memories? Thank you - we're really starting to get excited. sassyshar Posted June 24, 2019 #3 Share Posted June 24, 2019 Reservations are highly suggested if your planning on dinner between 6-8. Always busy, but worth the wait. Have been on the Dawn twice and is one of my favorite ships.
Rare BirdTravels Posted June 24, 2019 #4 Share Posted June 24, 2019 Last time we were on the Dawn, they used the restaurant for pop-up gift sales (t-shirt, etc.) on sea days.

Same here but it is open for dinner each night. We like to go there for dinner on sail away night. It has become a tradition.
dtiger Posted June 24, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 24, 2019 Great restaurant, worth going. Every now and then they'll open Bamboo for lunch on a sea day. Mainly it's open in the evenings for dinner.
Rare amygutman Posted June 24, 2019 #7 Share Posted June 24, 2019 Sea days for sales, nights for supper - Try the steamed Chilean Sea Bass - it was so good, we cancelled out reservation for Le Bistro to eat at Bamboo twice. Amy

Rare amygutman Posted July 7, 2019 #10 Share Posted July 7, 2019 There are particular dishes that have a premium price - my previously mentioned chilean sea bass was one of them. I think a few of the sushi rolls had a small cost associated with them as well. But in general - no cost for 80% of the menu. Amy

It’s still open for dinner even when they do the pop up sales.
