Looks like the Oasis DL is going to be cabins, Not wonderland

Were you hoping for Wonderland 🐰

No. I was hoping they wouldn't take more interior and exterior public areas, that I have used in the past, and turn them into cabins.  I guess that was probably hoping for too much.

Very disappointing to see these changes.

Yep, especially the continual addition of guest staterooms without increasing public space.

kind of like the secret balconies. what's the benefit to the majority of the pax that didn't know they existed

What is the benefit to the passengers who did know if everyone else knew too?  It would have rendered those balconies useless.

Some of the new venues are interesting, but between losing so many public areas to cabins and other areas to suite only guests, I find the ship a lot less attractive to sail on than what it was at the beginning.

See, that's my point. It only benefitted the cool kids. How is that equitable

Well, it was announced a month ago that DL was moving down.

I guess it isn't that big of a deal; I'll see how it is in December.  If I still like my Oasis experience, great.  If not, there are always other options.

Yes, but the new venues are not adding to public space, unfortunately.

When do you eat?

My Time between 6 and 7 if possible. Sometimes we're lucky and get a quiet corner but it's been a long while since that's happened. We would eat there more often otherwise. Now it's down to once per cruise if that.

Honestly looking forward to the new venues. And if CATS is back, all the better.

We eat MTD around 5:30 and see lots of practically empty tables. Especially the big ones. It's sad

Now the two tops seem a bit crowded.

That's the challenge the staff has to deal with. A shift away from traditional communal dining.

Early bird gets the worm, sometimes tough to do when coming back from an excursion though.

How many cabins are they adding to Oasis? 50 or so?
