I wonder how much of this is a combination of a brand new ship class sailing what is essentially a new route for the company dealing with a new clientele, hence some headaches over cultural differences, and I wonder if time has allowed it all to smooth over a bit? Difference in the YC dining room could be attributed to different Maitre D and new servers. Also, some expect more than others or do not know what to expect. What's most important is that you have a cruise line that recognizes when there are problems and don't let it persist for too long, and it sounds like MSC is working hard to keep a high quality of product, especially in the YC, even if that means they make some mistakes and have to correct them from time to time. One of the things that really negatively impacted the service we received in Meraviglia's Top Sail Lounge was the lack of peripheral vision and multitasking of most of the butlers.
