grsnovi Posted August 16, 2019 #51 Share Posted August 16, 2019 On the Eurodam last week, we got milk one night and dark the next. They alternated all week. We were in the cheap seats (plain verandah VB category).
Rare boards Posted August 16, 2019 #52 Share Posted August 16, 2019 On our cruise Oct.-Nov. 2018 on the Koningsdam we enjoyed the pillow chocolates. Looking forward enjoying them on our upcoming Noordam cruise.
sevenseasnomad Posted August 16, 2019 #53 Share Posted August 16, 2019 Sail7Seas, were you staying in a NS? It looks like it. Our outside category and balcony category all had the pillow chocolates, which I save in a zip-lock that I bring especially for taking these little "gifts" back home. When I need a "cruise fix", I grab one of the chocolates and consume it. By the time I've finished a batch, it's time for me to sail again, or I suffer "cruise withdrawal", not a nice feeling. LOL. KirkNC Posted August 16, 2019 #54 Share Posted August 16, 2019 We always tell our room steward to not do towel animals and no chocolates. We get enough calories through out the day.
highland cruiser Posted August 17, 2019 #55 Share Posted August 17, 2019 I package the chocolates up and bring them home to my father-in-law who is 98 and his cruising days are over. He loves them. Says he can imagine being back on a cruise! He shares them with the assisted living staff and talks about his cruising days with them. A win-win for everyone! Even myself as I agree with previous post that I don’t need extra calories. I get my chocolate fix and calories at dessert time!! Lunch and dinner!
