Heather1972 Posted August 7, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 7, 2019 Hi all, I just recently purchased my carnival stock and sent in the info to get my shareholder onboard credit. When it is posted, where would I see that online? Thanks!
pcvtmom Posted August 7, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 7, 2019 Go into "Manage My Cruise", as if you are going to print your documents. If it has been applied, it will show up there.
beacha Posted August 7, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 7, 2019 Heather, I get an email from Carnival telling me that the credit was applied to our account. I never see it on the booking , though. In the past, I have called Carnival to make sure it is on there. It always has been applied. I also screenshot the email in case I have to go to guest services, but after 10 or so cruises, there’s not ever a problem.
kristinp36 Posted August 8, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 8, 2019 I received an email confirmation. I print the email and take it with me to be safe.
Rare ontheweb Posted August 8, 2019 #5 Share Posted August 8, 2019 Or if you used a TA, you can call him or her to check.
NCTribeFan Posted August 8, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) In Manage My Booking, go to Print Documents, check General Information. On page 2 (Invoice page), there are a couple of boxes on the left side. Just under the Itemized Charges (the top box) is another box - your OBC should show up there. Wish we could make this a sticky since I've posted the same info about a dozen times! And, yes, I also take the email stating that the OBC has been applied. Just in case! Bookbug53 Posted August 8, 2019 #7 Share Posted August 8, 2019 It will not show in the booking documents. PRINT your confirmation and take it with you. If there is an issue after boarding, and you can't access your email, they may not honor it. I have learned that lesson the hard way.

Heather1972 Posted August 8, 2019 Author #9 Share Posted August 8, 2019 So it will or will not be in the booking documents? I see different posts above. I emailed in the request and put it in the mail just in case.
amyotravel Posted August 8, 2019 #10 Share Posted August 8, 2019 It WILL, if they applied it to your booking correctly. Here is where it shows up: Page 2 of your documents after you have done check in and you go to print your cruise documents, under general information. You can unselect the boarding pass and luggage tags. You can "print" (look at on screen) as many times as you want.
NCTribeFan Posted August 8, 2019 #11 Share Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) A couple of us gave step-by-step instructions on how to find it. So, yes, you CAN see your OBC! Edited August 8, 2019 by NCTribeFan
pcvtmom Posted August 8, 2019 #12 Share Posted August 8, 2019 I've always been able to see mine!
Bookbug53 Posted August 8, 2019 #13 Share Posted August 8, 2019 (edited) I have always found in 20 cruises that the amount of OBC depicted on your documents is NOT the share holders benefit but other OBC that has been applied. Share holder's shows up after you board. Your mileage may vary but not by much. ☺️ Edited August 8, 2019 by Bookbug53

My shareholder is always added to the OBC total once the shareholder documents are processed by guest admin at Carnival. I've been getting stockholder OBC since 2012 over 20-something cruises. Same here...I see mine in the "Print My Documents" form as well as other forms of OBC (price drop, promotional, etc.). However, for me, the OBC credits are not delineated. The OBC simply shows as a total amount of credit (total of Stockholder, Promotional, Price Drop). Garnett
Heather1972 Posted August 9, 2019 Author #15 Share Posted August 9, 2019 You all can continue to sort it out amongst yourselves. 😂 The OBC is on my documents, but I didn't receive any email confirming the OBC despite me asking for one. I guess I should just be thankful for the OBC!

It's the ONLY OBC (sadly) I have so that HAS to be it.
