Binoculars in Cabin on Solstice

On a few recent cruises, Azamara and Holland America, binoculars were provided in the cabin.  We have an Alaska cruise coming up and we're trying to decide if we should get a small lightweight pair or binoculars to take with us.  We won't buy them if they are provided in the cabin.  Anyone with first hand knowledge about this??

Our last 2 Celebrity cruises were in Aqua Class and binoculars were provided.  However, they were of poor quality - I would recommend you bring you own set if they are any good.

I believe only Concierge cabins and above have binoculars.  But as Billydog said  ery low quality.  Bring your own if you want a good pair.

As noted above, binoculars are only provided in certain cabin categories. I agree that you should bring your own regardless, as the ones provided are poor.

Concierge Class and above have "binoculars" provided in the cabin. If you'd like to see something that requires them (Alaska has many sights where they come in handy) I'd suggest bringing your own. The ones provided by X are as useful as two toilet paper rolls taped together.😜

I could see better without the provided binoculars.  You really should bring a pair of decent binocs as there are many sights.   I regret not bringing mine from home. I mean binoculars and not toilet paper rolls....
