Now, I'm ocd as a mo-fo, but I ended up scarfing down trays full of that awesome cheese, Brazil nuts, and olives...

It always smells good. But I just can’t. It’s not like there isn’t plenty of untainted food on this ship that I gotta eat suspect cheese and nuts.

I’ve seen enough guys around here pull it out of their pants and not wash their hands..I don’t want to eat any nuts they may have touched....or berries and cheese.

I wish they’d offer the Spaghetti Carbonara on a different night. I would love that, but I would choose the lobster over it, hands down. I could ask for it as an appetizer, but spaghetti for an appetizer might be just too heavy.

As I mentioned in the intro, I’ve been here once before about five years ago. I didn’t spend enough time here. I was rushing through before they closed. Plus they’ve added a new building since I was last here.

This is one of the top museums in the country. I argue that it’s cheaper and better than many of the excursions you will take on your cruise. I think everyone should plan a cruise out of New Orleans. Get a great price on one of these convention center hotels right by Fulton parking garage. Park at Fulton. Visit the WWII museum the day before your cruise. Use the included Fulton shuttle to and from the terminal.

As for the extras at the museum...I did watch the movie “Beyond All Boundries” narrated by Tom Hanks. It was excellent. I did do the submarine experience. It was less than excellent. I recommend “Beyond Borders.” I don’t recommend the submarine unless you have a kid that really wants to do it.

I am following your review to get some ideas about things to see, etc. in New Orleans (as recommended by sid_9169).  I have added the World War II Museum to my list of things to see.  Thanks for all the pictures!

Yes... Enter through the spa entrance from the elevator bank. There's also a glass enclosed staircase in the area that goes around the "secret hot tub" but you can't get to it from there...

Is it outside??? Is it part of the spa??? Can anyone use it or do you have to be part of a spa package???

Did you dress “elegant” for dinner tonight? Just curious how most are dressed for the evening.

I do  dockers and a long sleeve button down.  The most casual person I saw was untucked polo and dress pants. But I was seated in the back and ate early.

Went to PG comedy at 7pm. Actually I was a little late. The steward finally knocked on my door when I was trying to change clothes.

Got there about 10 mins late only a couple people were seated above the first tier. I took that opportunity to enjoy more comfortable seating. So I sat on one of those couches on the 2nd level. Never again. I had constantly move my feet for people and cocktail servers. Even with  me moving my feet back as far as they would go I got stepped on by an old man and ran over by a stroller.

How does that fun times I posted this afternoon look? The second one. I can’t tell on my phone. Is it better than the morning one?

I think the afternoon one is better than the morning one.

After comedy the alchemy was full so I went down to the main lounge and checked out some of the Motown show.

I headed back to the comedy club for the 8pm Pg show. I got there right as the comedian took the stage. It was close to full. I still got my seat from last night. It was totally full after the Motown show let out.

After comedy the alchemy was still full. I went down to the atrium and watched a little bit of their show. This is the entertainment that would be in ocean plaza on a Dream or vista class and the entertainment that would be in the atrium on Dream or vista is crammed on the side of the walkway by the casino.

After a couple songs I decided I wanted a chocolate drink. I decided to give alchemy one more try and if was full I’d go for the atrium bar.
