10:30pm FLL arrival. Stay where?

Our FLL flight arrives at 10:30pm on a Sunday.  We're looking for somewhere to stay that has something to do nearby.  Wouldn't say no to a brew pub.  

 

Any ideas?

Check out the 17th Street area.  The Embassy Suites has a bar.

Hyatt place  17th street  is close to the mall by Embassy suites 

maybe some bars open in the plaza ?

I agree with cruiseapril and LHT, 17th street is a good spot.  You could walk to a few different spots.  Waxy O'Connors is right across the street, Kelly's Landing is on the other side of the Ross shopping center across the street,  and Duffy's sports bar is behind the Embassy Suites.

Originally, was looking for something around Dania area since we're cruising out of Miami but there wasn't anything open nearby that late on a Sunday.

Absolutely......been there done that...especially Duffy's & Waxy O'Connors !!!!

Much prefer Hyatt Place to Embassy Suites !!

Duffys doesn't serve food that late on a Sunday.  Probably nothing on 17th.  Quarterdeck maybe but you'd have to call.

 

The only place I know that will be open and serving is Sushi Song in Himmarshee Village.  Excellent and all the chefs in town go there after work.  They serve until 4am.
