NCL air when cruise gets changed?

With NCL changing when the Breakaway will get into port, will they help those who had free/reduced air?  It's supposed to be in port of Miami on Sept 1st.  Sounds like right now people on board have the choice of getting off in Cozumel on 8/31 or stay on board to an estimated 9/2-9/3 when they think they can make it to port of Miami.  Do you think they will help with the air (for those who booked air with cruise-line) for those getting off in Cozumel?  How about those waiting till Miami?

If you booked through a travel agent; get him or her to find out for you, one of the perks of booking that way. If you booked through NCL you should contact them (good luck with that). It may be difficult to find a cruise critic member with experience with this situation.

Also, if you have travel insurance independent of the cruise line, you could check with them.

If NCL booked your air they will make the changes, there is really nothing that you can do, the booking belongs to them not to you.

NCL will rebook. But, the breakaway is coming back on time.

How do you explain this since NCL says the ship is staying in Cozumel until 5:00 p.m. on September 1st?

Are you going believe the website or the guy on the ship who repeated what the captain just announced? Bottom line is that the storm is slowing down. And NCL is going to gamble that they can get in/out before the port closes.  Other cruise lines posted that they anticipate the port closing sometime on Sunday.

As of now, NCL has not made any decisions on Monday departures.... hoping for additional slowing of the storm or a more northerly track.

It's been a roller coaster ride.  First they announced to those on board that their cruise would be extended.  Now today some are saying that the schedule has changed back and they will leave Cozumel later today once can get everyone on board.  This was supposedly reported by some on board with others showing e-mails they received saying to get back on board ASAP.  Now the last I heard people are saying that was fake news and some of the reports coming from those on board are from people who were told this by other people on board.  I think if it was fake news / meant as a joke or something that those who did this should realize how NOT funny it is.  I don't know what is going on.  And I think the big problem is nobody else seams to know either.
