Hi

The 3 of us are currently booked in 7204 (category 2B) for our forthcoming Caribbean cruise however considering upgrading to 8107 (category FV) however its right at the front so worried it may have lots of vibration/motion.

Please let me know your views?

thank you

Cabin 2107 is great.  Have booked it on several cruises.  Large balcony.  Close to elevators.  Bed by bath.  One floor up to the Oceanview  buffet.  No noise.  Same level as pool.  We have it booked for our Dec cruise.  Hope this helps.

I think they were looking at 8107 which is at the front of the ship. We have been on deck 7 at the very front and would not book again.  There was a bumping sound as we were travelling and it’s very noisy in the morning when they are letting the lines out. That was our experience, but you would be one deck higher.

Huge room with separate bedroom and a very  small 2nd bedroom.  There will be noise from lines being let out/in and anchor.

If the seas our rough you will feel more motion.  So if you are bothered by noise or motion you may be uncomfortable.  DH wears hearing aids so noise it easily taken care of and neither of us get motion sickness. So we would go for the FV.

It's a roll of the dice.  If it is "Lake Caribbean" as it often is, you will enjoy the extra room.  If the seas are active, and you are at all motion sensitive, you will be hating life.  I have no problems with motion (was all over the ship in 45+ ft seas) but wife does so we never book forward of the forward elevators.

That can happen anywhere on the ship.   It depends how the waves hit the hull.

Someone on one cruise asked the captain if it was from hitting whales

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
