Wondering if casino is open first night when sailing out of Baltimore?

Thinking of booking the Pride for June 2020 and was wondering of the casino will be open the first night and last night......the last time we sailed the Grandeur out of Baltimore a few years ago, the casino could not open until we were out of the  Chesapeake Bay so basically not until the next day and then it closed at 8:00 pm on the last night.   Any info would be helpful as I try to decide between the Pride and RCCL Oasis......I know LOL very different ships.

I may be wrong, but there is no gambling on any ship until they leave U.S. territorial waters, which is a 12 mile limit. But it may be more than that. That includes every cruise line that sails out of a U. S. port.

Correct. Most likely the casino might open after midnight like 1-2am or so. The Pride left Baltimore at around 5:30 and they are still in the Chesapeake Bay as of 10:52pm

The casino was open on the first night every time I have sailed on the Pride,  I went after dinner.

We have cruised on the Pride out of Baltimore 5 times and I can assure you that the casino is open both the first and last nights. The casino opened not long after sail away. 😎

We also sailed the pride a couple of times - the casino is indeed open the first night.

Incorrect! The casino's certainly open when still in U.S. waters! New Orleans cruises have the casino open on the Mississippi River every cruise. Same for cruises out of Baltimore!

Thanks for replies..... The last time I sailed the Pride about 5 years ago, the casino oped soon after sailing. Sailed the RCCL Grandeur of the Seas out of Baltimore  3 years ago and there had been some issue with the state of Maryland and they could not open until we hit the international waters which meant not until out of the Chesapeake Bay which was after midnight.  A few of us in the sailing party were quite disappointed in this so I am hoping to not have same issue on the Pride in June.  Looking forward to hearing back from person sailing in October....🤞

Just got off the Pride on Sept. 8th , our 7th time on her.  I can assure you the casino is indeed open the first night, and until late the last night.
