Resort for a day Ft Lauderdale

Anyone have experience in  Resort for a Day stays around the Ft Lauderdale area?  We have until our 7 pm flight after our cruise.  Would like to be on the beach & have a pool.  A shower/changing area would be nice also.  Or anyone have cheaper beach day ideas for the day?  Don't want to be stuck dragging around our luggage all day.  Thank you for any suggestions.

 

Edit:  We could drop bags off at FLL airport storage for the day.  Where would be a good area to spend the day then?

The company resortforaday dot com has a few properties in the FLL/MIA area. We have used them multiple times in the Caribbean and it has been great. Just read the fine print so you know what is included and what is not.

Resortpass dot com is another option to explore.  

 

You could rent a car and explore, or enjoy a boozy brunch in La s Olas, or ride the water taxi. www.sunny.org has lots of FLL area tourist info.

I'm interested in Resortpass also because we didn't want to lug luggage around and thought a pool and beach would be relaxing. Any recommendations which resort everyone has used would be nice.
