Is there a charge to use the fitness center equipment as long as the guest isn't signed up for any classes, etc?

 

Also, is it only open from 0800 until 2000/2100?

The fitness center is complimentary (included) - weights and machines are free to use unless, yes, you sign up for a special class. I can't say for sure what the hours are as they may change from itinerary to itinerary, but we were very happy to see it open until 11 pm. On Eclipse in April, the gym was open 24 hours.

I may be wrong and happy to be corrected but I believe the hours are 08:00 AM - 10 or 11:00 PM are the hours that the fitness center is staffed.   I have used the Elliptical machines at 5:00 - 6:30 AM on a regular basis and I can assure you I wasn't the only one in the gym.    Often most if not all of the bikes, treadmills and elliptical s were in use.

I have gotten in there at 6 am every cruise I been on and like Jim said there are plenty of people in there.
