OvaDaTop Posted October 18, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2019 I received $50 shore excursion credit per port perk but on a Bermuda cruise there is only 1 port. Do we get any extra credit in light of this being a 1 port cruise?
bluesea777 Posted October 18, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2019 Although it's one port, but for Bermuda cruises it's counted as 3 days so you get one $50 per day - one NCL excursion per day for 3 days. If you take 2 NCL excursion in one day, you still receive only one $50 credit, not 2 x $50. ENJOY your Bermuda cruise!
OvaDaTop Posted October 18, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted October 18, 2019 Ok. So if you do an excursion on 2 different days you get 50 towards each one.

salty dingo Posted October 18, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 18, 2019 I'm headed to Bermuda on Escape Sunday and had the same question. It's per day, and unfortunately the credit is $50 per cabin but (assuming you are traveling with a partner) there is nothing you can do that is anywhere near $50 for two people. The least expensive excursion is the beach near the ship, but that is the least desirable beach in Bermuda. We're going to by a bus/ferry pass and do the island all by ourselves. We did it last time we cruised to Bermuda and it worked out great.
1025cruise Posted October 19, 2019 #6 Share Posted October 19, 2019 Is it too late to change your perk? In Bermuda, there is no reason whatsoever to take ship's excursions.

The $50 per cabin shorex promo is not intended to cover the full cost of an excursion, even for one person. It just makes the high cost of NCL's shore excursions more tolerable for those who want to take them (especially if they have sufficient Latitudes standing to also receive a certain % off the price of their excursions). 5 minutes ago, 1025cruise said: Is it too late to change your perk? salty dingo Posted October 19, 2019 #8 Share Posted October 19, 2019 When the ship will stay docked for three days, you really don't need to worry about what time you return or possibility of missing the ship. Except for the last day, that is.
