Hubbard glacier: excursion vs ship

We have hubbard glacier on itinerary. 

 

We will be on coral princess. They offer excursion to get on smaller boat to see glacier. It is pricey (of course). Is it worth it? Or will we see/hear same from cruise ship?

Thank you. I have tried to search and it is bringing up antartica? I've done 2-3 searches with either cant find results or it is Antarctica cruises 🤷‍♀️

The few people I met on Coral Princess that did this small boat excursion raved about their trip.

I sailed on the Island Princess this summer. The people I talked to who did this excursion loved it. I had taken the 26 glacier excursion in Whittier on my turnaround day, so I did not want to spend the money to see another glacier up close.

Hubbard Glacier is huge.  You will not have the same experience from the cruise ship.
