Speaking of Excursions,

I will be sailing on The Wind In January and it is my first time in Belize.

I have looked over on the Belize forum and it is not very exciting/positive.

SS offers one that I am thinking of trying "AIRBOAT ADVENTURE

AND CITY HIGHLIGHTS"...…...has anyone taken this tour?

I am not a snorkeler and really don't want to take an "all day" excursion.

The above tour is 2.5 hours and was just wondering if anyone has some

first hand input?

Thank you!

Most tours are FREE.

Hard to better that !!

Good morning:classic_smile:....huh? Maybe I missed something but was asking about the Airboat tour? Not free..just wondering

if anyone has taken it before.

If you google Belize private tours you'll probably find the same tour or other better options for a lot less money.

Thanks for the reply. I travel solo and when I haven't been to port before, sometimes I prefer to go with the

cruiseline. But I will google your suggestion and see what comes up.

After looking at several entries......The cruiseline is offereing a couple that are either cheap or free. I will go with the

free one. It is a short 2 hour sightseeing tour and that will be just fine:classic_smile:

I did go on line to research private tours and nothing peaked my interest really.

Re the Airboat ride in Belize.  We did this tour last year on the Muse South America Grand Voyage.  It was interesting & made a lot of fun by the dolphins who followed us playing in the wake, some hanging out with us almost the entire way.  It's a pleasant way to spend a couple of hours if you don't want to snorkel or just walk around the little tender landing area.  Free makes it even better.

I didn't realize the tours were free. But in my experience you get what you pay for.

I agree with that logic most of the time.  And not all the tours are free. The airboat road is not

a freebee......the sightseeing tour is.  I have time to decide if I want to change my mind.
