Explorer Penthouse Suites

There are three categories, A-C. There are price differences and not all are available on the same decks, but what else is different about them? If you try the “Compare cabins” function on the Regent website, there does not appear to be any size or other difference between them. Surely it can’t be the butlers!

I have not sailed on Explorer but I have sailed on all the other ships.  The PH suites are listed A, B, C depending on the deck they are on.  Mariner for example - PH A is on 11, B on 10, C on 9.  I think you will find the same pattern on Explorer or Splendour.

I did some research on this. There are a few of these suites that do have smaller balconies.  I think the highest decks had the smaller balconies, you can search each one and I think I discovered it that way. Otherwise, it’s just location.

We are on Explorer now and were invited to view the forward-facing PH-C on deck 8.  Metal bulkhead balcony instead of plexiglass so you have to stand if you want a view.  But they said the balcony is definitely useable when under way as the bulkhead provides some wi d protection when seated.  Large balcony a d exceptional  views when entering a port
