New to P and O. I've tried to find this information on the website, but it's always best to ask the experts!

 

Would people kindly let me know how many sockets are in the cabin and of which type?

The number of sockets will vary by cabin type, but are the standard UK 3 pin type.

I find its always best to have a universal adaptor in my luggage, then your covered and, because most cruise ship and hotel shaver sockets don't seem compatible with UK shaver plugs, I take my shaver plug adaptor as well.

Currently on Arcadia and in our balcony cabin we have one UK 240v 3 pin socket, one 220v round pin socket, and 3 x 115v sockets so it is best to take adapters as mentioned by @terrierjohn

In the bathroom there is a round 2 pin shaver style socket. At least one  3 pin socket close to the mirror, and I'm sure there was an American style 2 pin socket in the same area. We always take an adapter with us too.
