The last time we went to Grand Turk, we rented a cabana at Margaritaville. We were concerned about lack of shade, but found plenty on the beach side of the bar and pool.  I am confused about loungers there now.  I have seen comments about locals renting out chairs and umbrellas.  Are the loungers still free in some areas?  And where exactly would that be?

The way I understand it is the green umbrellas are free. Locals set up in front and charge for those. In some cases they may try to charge for green but shouldn’t. There’s a sign out there. I’ll take a pic.

This is where they have all of the golf carts.

 

At one of my previous jobs there was sometimes a need to drive to the other side of the company property. If you didn’t want to use your personal vehicle they had golf carts you could sign out.

 

It was a big hassle because you had to go to security, give them your driver’s license, fill out a form, sign out the key. Then reverse the process when you return.

 

So I used my personal vehicle for awhile...until I figured out the key to my filing cabinet could also be used to turn on the golf carts.

 

I brought my keys just in case I need to borrow a ride back from Jack’s Sack later.

I’m grabbing change in the casino and whiteboard is in front of me telling the cashier. “ I don’t know what your problem is but I’ve already spent six thousand dollars on this ship.” Then he walks away shouting some profanity.

This is where the funship 7 spashed down. I’ve seen some tours that make it sound like the actual capsule is here but it’s just a replica. The real one is at the Smithsonian I believe. You can see another actual real capsule in that class at space center Houston if you’re out of Galveston. It’s in my Vista review.
