North Sea rough seas?

Depends on your route.   If you are heading south from Dublin, through the English channel and then upward you have a better chance of calmer seas than if you are going north around Scotland.  There is a patch between the Island of Ireland and Iceland which is fairly notorious.

Thanks for the responses.  I guess we will get what we get! And I’ll tell hubby to go get his patches 😛

Yes, you get what you get. And if you have an issue with sea sickness, you should be prepared EVERY time you are on a ship.

Impossible to say really. I've cruised North from Southampton - which is probably the route you'll take.....??- several times at different times of year  I don't think it's ever been  completely calm and I've had a couple of very rough crossings.

If you are sensitive to rough seas you should be prepared at any time. I  have cruised the north sea with calm seas. Once we were on the way to Monte Carlo and we had very rough seas. (so rough a window broke in the Main dining room). So I guess you never know....
