kkat10 Posted November 30, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 30, 2019 Trying to decide if I should get kids soda package? They like lemonade which I think is included. What else is included? Milk included?
cb at sea Posted November 30, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 30, 2019 Ice water, coffee, tea (iced or hot), lemonade, milk and juice at breakfast are INCLUDE IN YOUR FARE. If you're good with that, for the most part, you don't need a package. Lemonade is in the WJ....ice water is at any bar or eating venue. Milk, coffee, tea and juice are at all the eating venues. If you want the occasional soda, or "for fee" drink, you can buy it.
mets123 Posted November 30, 2019 #3 Share Posted November 30, 2019 Agree, not worth the money for them.
traveler1980 Posted November 30, 2019 #4 Share Posted November 30, 2019 Depends on the age of your kids and what you allow them to have. We rarely allow our kids any kind of soda, almost never anything with caffeine. We did allow them to get the soda package and it was such a fun thing for them. They have the touch screen machines and the kids loved it. Many caffeine free options. They loved having the cups and feeling grown up. Definitely a vacation treat for our kids. Pochi Hanaki Posted November 30, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 30, 2019 If your kids like soda it is worth the money as it is over $3.75 for just one can of soda on the ship.

Often, included there are flavored milks (chocolate, sometimes strawberry) You can bring a few six packs of soft drinks per cabin I believe. roupa Posted December 2, 2019 #7 Share Posted December 2, 2019 How much soda are you thinking your kids need!? Buying a pricey soda package seems like a huge, expensive waste since so often a can is never finished...also a less healthy choice. As stated above, there are free options in the WJ and on the occasion it is closed between meals, there is a self-serve area just outside the WJ where you can get coffee, tea, water and maybe lemonade. I always get my "Arnold Palmers" in the WJ throughout the day!
Tulsacoker Posted December 2, 2019 #8 Share Posted December 2, 2019 I think Lemonade is also available throughout the day in Sorrentos pizza and other free (included) venues of different ships

Tulsacoker Posted December 2, 2019 #11 Share Posted December 2, 2019 plus you might need the refreshment package for flavored water / seltzers in ships without the freestyle machines.

Thanks If you can live with unflavored soda water or tonic water, those are available at any bar or restaurant with any of the beveage packages.
