Your husband is a ships captain and you are taking him on a cruise for Christmas!!

Yes its something we try to do each year, since we both retired, although we had our Caribbean xmas cruise on the Oriana cancelled a couple of years ago, because of engine problems, so I can empathise with others in the same boat, so to speak.

 

Look out for me and Phil on the karaoke.!!

Just in case anyone is watching a shipping movements website this afternoon - 

 

Captain told us yesterday that the software update for the thrusters was successful but that the software engineers would like to do one last test before they disembark tomorrow.  Soooo, Ventura will be doing a 360 degree turn - pirouette, as he said - between 3&6 this afternoon.

 

Much as we might wish to be heading back to the Caribbean, Southampton remains our destination!
