Just off Arcadia today after the worst weather I’ve ever had on a cruise and continuesly. Will post some more about this cruise, after one day onboard the seaways were mainly force 9 with a couple of days force 8 until we returned and left Norwegian waters. I was so proud of my wife and son who while scared took it in their stride. Relentless.

So now it's really blowing.  Highest gust on the headland at Prawle Point was 84 mph (72 knots).  It's blowing a constant 63 knots right now.

A bit windier here in Southampton now, but still no sign of a storm.

Ok, it's calmer this morning but coming in again tonight.  61 mph winds again.  Our boys here on the Harbour are making sure all the little boats are safe.

Arcadia is just south of Penzance, a fairly northerly route to avoid mid channel I would think.  She should be out of the worst of it before the next low hits tonight.

Just arrived at Lisbon. Seemed we avoided the worst of the storm. There was a bit of pitching and rolling but we’ve certainly had rougher crossings over the Bay.
