Room service liquor

Was going to order liquor for cabin and saw a delivery charge. Do they charge a delivery fee if I order from room service? As near as I can tell the bottle price is the same?

Yes, they charge the delivery fee; I think it's 18%? or something like that.  If you're in a port that charges tax, you pay that too.  But if it's delivered on a sea day, you don't have to pay the tax.

If I'm remembering correctly I ordered a bottle once and it was going to charge me tax for it. I selected a delivery time of evening of the first day and didn't have to pay the tax. The bottle was still waiting for us when we arrived in the cabin.
