Are Beach Umbrellas available for rent and if so can you rent in advance?  I could not find what I was looking for on the Carnival web site.

Not that I am aware of. They have clamshells, and there have been some reports of a new, tent like structure. But not umbrellas.

I don't off the top of my head...but if you look around, they are discussed here frequently.

No umbrellas -- book a clamshell, or look for shade.

Decided to surprise family and rented a villa for us,  its a splurge but it will be the first time all of us have cruised together, plus my brother and mother are both fair skinned so they will enjoy the shade.
