Hello. For anyone who stayed at Hyatt Regency in Long Beach or are familiar with that area - are there are any other ways to get to the Carnival terminal from the hotel besides Uber / Lyft? Just want to consider all options.

It looks like its less than 2 miles away.

Without luggage my wife and I can walk that distance easily in 30 min

Thanks

An old fashioned taxi won't be much more than $10. Uber/lyft might be less.

Not really saving much money trying to avoid those options.

Long Beach has a free bus that goes from downtown Long Beach across the causeway to near the Queen Mary.

I'd not try it with lots of luggage.

What is $10-15 when on vacation???

We did the free bus mentioned above when we took a 3 day sailing out of Long Beach. We had no luggage and the bus was super easy. Just get off at the stop for Queen Mary and it's about a 7 minute walk to the port/terminal. With luggage would be difficult as the bus wasn't designed for that and there really isn't anywhere to put suitcases, etc. If you are staying at the Hyatt, the bus can be picked up just across the street near the aquarium. FWIW, the Hyatt is hands down my favourite place to stay in Long Beach!

i did this, took the circulator to the queen mary stop and walked over the to cruise terminal.  our cruise left on a weekday morning, so taking the circulator wasn't a problem, it was lightly peopled and there wasa a second couple doing the same thing
