I would like to hear from someone on a 2020 cruise. I already read what you mentioned. Thanks.

well, since today is only the second day of the year, you may be hard pressed to get an answer just yet.

Have they switched to Pepsi for 2020?

Have they added self serve Pepsi machines?

Carnival has stated the change from Coke to Pepsi would take place in January 2020. Today is January 2nd.

I get wanting to hear from someone on the ship, but we already have it confirmed that they are switching to Pepsi. And no where has anyone said anything about self serve machines (as nice as that would be), so no reason to expect that.

On the freedom it is coke. I was hoping they would switch at midnight and dump all of the coke.

Hahaha, that's funny, the thought of Carnival throwing anything away.

This is the cruise line that cuts strawberries into sixths or eighths for garnishes, serves brown limes in cocktails, and sends moldy strawberries to Platinum and Diamond guests.

I don't cruise for a specific brand of coke. I cruise for sun ups viewed from the aft Lido with a bad cup of coffee. I cruise for some of the best people watching this side of Walmart. I cruise for the ability to shut my brain down and let others do all the planning, driving, cooking, and cleaning. Coke or Pepsi, it's all just coke and something fizzy to drink.

No ginger ale. 😞
I bought 2 6-pks of ginger ale last cruise to be delivered to my room due to my tendency to get motion sickness. Looks like I will keep a close eye on the beverage selection, because I may need to bring my own this time.

They have Schweppes Ginger Ale on the ships that have switched - not listed above as they (like Dr. Pepper) are not Pepsi products, though in many markets are distributed by Pepsi.

I wouldn't be able to tell you the difference if I had to . . . Besides, I don't drink a lot of "cola" on a cruise anyway.
