My husband and I are cruising in less than 3 weeks on the Summit.  We have the Classic Beverage package as a perk.  When I log into my account there is a promotion of 10% off the upgrade to the premium package.  We always upgrade, but usually we do it on board.  The 10% off price that is showing is $10.80 per day.  I thought that was the normal price?  Am I confused?  Is $10.80 per person per day a discount?  Thank you.

Normal would be 12.  10 per day plus 20% grats  The 10.80 is based of $9 per plus 20% day  (10.80).  So its a 10% savings overall.  I have never seen it discounted when on board Just prorated by how many days left in the cruise.

Do you mind giving some guidance on where you are seeing the 10% off the upgrade?  I can't seem to find it in the cruise planner.  The only thing I see with a discount is 10% off the Drinks and More package.  Would love to upgrade to Premium.  Thank you!!

Mine only shows the 10% off the Drinks and More as well.  I think the upgrade discount is for select cruises and/or as it gets closer to the sailing date.  I still have 251 days to go, so I plan to keep an eye out for a discount.  Either way, I'm definitely upgrading, but saving money would certainly be nice.

Drinks and More is premium, PLUS two bottles of wine, PLUS $50 in casino credit, PLUS items in the mini bar in your cabin.

Its a no brainer for our cruise. YMMV

This sounds a pretty good deal. Just to confirm, this is $50 casino credit and 2 bottles of wine per person??

I can see it discounted online in cruise planner, but I can’t see how to upgrade from our current Classic package. I guess I may need to call??

thanks

I don't see the option to upgrade on my cruise planner today.  It was there yesterday when I upgraded.  I don't know if I don't see it, because I already upgraded or if it's no longer available.

I paid $75.60 for the week to upgrade from Classic to Premium package.

I have a question... I heard that when Celebrity recently stopped the additional $14 PP PD gratuity -- you were supposedly automatically upgraded to the Premium package from the Classic Package (which we always buy anyway).  We are on the Edge in March and we were charged for the $14 PP PD gratuity, but got it back from our TA as a SBC.  Has anyone had this situation? Were you automatically upgraded to the Premium package?

Thank you... 😁

Hi!  I usually have the Premium Beverage Package before boarding (because of having the 4 perks) but with my next sailing in a few months, I have the Classic Beverage Package with 2 other perks (it was actually a better deal to upgrade later than having all 4 perks from the start) and will upgrade to Premium when we board (unless I see a discount before boarding). ;)

Here's my question... In my cruise planner, it shows an option to purchase the Classic Beverage Package, like I don't even have it (even though I do)...  Is this normal?  Will it change as it gets closer and show an option to upgrade to the Premium Beverage Package?  Thanks!  =)

Sometimes it shows up, sometimes it doesn't.  Our first X cruise, when we had premium, it never showed up in the planner, but was on our express pass.  We were interested in upgrading from classic to premium on our last cruise, and from premium to drinks and more on our upcoming cruise, and I had to call X to get the packages added to my planner so I could upgrade.

Thank You!  I will call.  😃     Yes, when I've had Premium it didn't show up in the cruise planner but I knew we had it and had documentation with it so I wasn't worried but with the possibility of a discount to upgrade before sailing, I wondered if it would show.
