Cannot login from iOS app with same credentials from Web browser

Hi Cruise Critic Folks, 

 

So for some reason every time I try to use the Cruise Critic app for iOS it tells me my password is incorrect, or "There is a problem with this forum. Please contact the forum admin or try again later". I KNOW I have the right password as I can login via browser on my computer or phone. Not certain if there is a trick to logging in via the app. But any help would be much appreciated! I am in IT so hopefully this isn't user error here..

The app has not worked since the website switched to a new platform in October 2018. We have been told that a new version of the app is being tested, but still not ETA.

Originally, there was to be no new app. Public demand made them change their minds, but it has not been a priority.

They recently were testing something, but nothing has been announced yet.
