Some of my family are on a Carnival Cruise at Mahogany Bay today - yes, I'm wondering what they might be experiencing.

That is a ways south, that said, hi rises as far away as Miami were evacuated to be checked

We are on Vista now and were on the ship when it occurred. Definitely knew something happened, but it did not last long. We have heard from people who were on the island that they started closing shops and suspended tender operations. But now tenders are on normal schedule to and from the island. We have not heard of any changes to our next port, Ocho Rios.

John Heald just reported that Vista is in Grand Cayman and reports no issues.

Def some damage in GC, we have friends on Paradise waiting to hear if they get to port tomorrow, they just had another 6.5 aftershock east end of GC.

I live here in Cayman.  You definitely felt it.  Lasted about 30 seconds.  Had another 6.1 hit just before 5PM.  Lots of smaller aftershocks since then, but nothing I could feel.

Thanks for the update.
