Only look at Johannes's cruises. So many SeaDream alumni with Azamara.🍸

But JT makes up for a lot....😎

TrapperZimmy Posted January 31, 2020 #10 Share Posted January 31, 2020 We like the the R ships. We started with Renaissance and did several with Oceania. 680 passengers is my absolute maximum, although we much prefer 112 or fewer. We did a 14-day on Azamara a few years ago from Rome to Athens. Included Israel and Egypt. We were very happy with it. Had an owner's suite forward. Service was very good, and suite passengers had special treatment. This was right after Larry Pimentel came over and started introducing some of the SD ideas, such as wine with lunch and dinner. Haven't done it since, but wouldn't rule it out if the itinerary appealed.

We sailed with JT on Azamara over Christmas and New Year . Best Azamara Captain by far. (We do Azamara for the destinations, SD for old friends amongst passengers and crew - horses for courses)
