Lindqvist Beach or Magans Bay?

Just wondering if anyone has been at this beach it is Smiths cove or also called Lindqvist Beach... Just wondering how this compares to Magens Beach? we are trying to decide which beach to do.... We will be the only ship in port that day according to Cruise ship timetable...  thk you   :)

Lindquist has less facilities (no bar or restaurant, but sometimes food truck) than Magens, which may be a plus or a minus for you- it is a plus for us. Snorkeling is better at Lindquist than Magens. Both have entry fees, so that is really a wash. You can see the other islands from Lindquist, which I find interesting. Magens is really shallow going out, which is nice and the water will have the best chance of being calm. I guess it really depends on what you are looking for!

Depends on what you are looking for - a gorgeous beach where most of your fellow cruise mates will head to? Or arguably the nicest STT beach with no amenities other than restrooms?

There is not much snorkeling at Magen's.

We prefer Lindqvist.  Gorgeous beach and not as crowded as Megan's.  Just pack a cooler, grab some towels and relax.

Lindqvist/Smith Bay and Magens are both part of a territorial park system. There is an entry fee, lifeguards, etc. Magens has a bit more infrastructure, having been in existence much longer.
