algriff Posted February 19, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 19, 2020 On the Explorer of the Seas is there an electrical outlet by the bedside table that you can plug in a CPAP machine or do I need an extension cord?
stevea36 Posted February 19, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 19, 2020 Contact Special needs at 866-592-7225 and they will provide an extension cord (there is no outlet by the bed) and a bottle of distilled water for you.
sburrus4 Posted February 20, 2020 #3 Share Posted February 20, 2020 This form will also allow you to indicate you have a CPAP (and any other special needs like dairy intolerance, mobility, hearing, etc). They recommend doing it at least 30 days before sailing. https://www.royalcaribbean.com/resources/guest-special-needs
SamTimeDining Posted February 20, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 20, 2020 You can also simply email special_needs@rccl.com No need for forms/printing/phone calls etc 😄
Rare vacationlover_mn Posted February 20, 2020 #5 Share Posted February 20, 2020 Also... I DH never remembers to contact special needs ahead of time, and has always been able to get the distilled water from our room steward. At least once, the room steward saw the cpap, and brought the water without being asked 🙂
