molly361 Posted February 20, 2020 #1 Share Posted February 20, 2020 According to the policy "sickness. injury or death as diagnosed by a doctor at the time your cruise is terminated. Doctor's note says chest infection and cough, not infectious. So wondering if that is even covered if we didn't go.
klfrodo Posted February 20, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 20, 2020 I'm not a claims agent but I don't see anything indicating the Dr. is saying that they recommend you not travel.

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well. Husband is coughing and hacking away and I'm sure fellow passengers are NOT going to want to be around him yet if he does not go I don't think he will be covered
Philob Posted February 22, 2020 #4 Share Posted February 22, 2020 The doctors note should "advise against going" and a claims adjuster may request a copy of the pertinent portion of your husband's medical file to back up the advise against travel.
