marazul Posted March 13, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 13, 2020 (edited) HERE IS THE ANNOUNCEMENT: The Junta Constructora de la Sagrada Família has decided to stop construction and visits to the Temple from tomorrow, Friday 13 March. This decision also applies to Gaudí House Museum in Park Güell. This measure is being taken to protect visitors, staff and external collaborators at the Temple from the possible risk of catching COVID-19. The Temple will be closed indefinitely but the situation will be studied periodically and the public notified of any pertinent information. With regard to the religious celebrations scheduled for the coming days, the calendar of worship will remain the same and the space for worship will be adapted in order to apply the necessary preventive measures. So, international masses on Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings, as well as the Easter week masses, will be held as scheduled with the necessary security personnel.
