Final payment date was extended!

The Early Saver Bonus Rate now offers final payment not due until 30 days prior to cruise date. The rate was the same price so I called my PVP today to switch and I am still eligible for future price drops.

I hopefully sail July 25th and this moved my final payment date from April 26 to June 25, a huge load off my mind. I rebooked my cancelled cruise but I really don’t  want to give Carnival more of my money until I have a better idea of what the situation will be, this helps.

Same...but I booked casino rate.  When I try Early Saver it changes to "30 days" before the sailing.

I booked Early Saver, but I booked last summer so maybe that has something to do with it?

They've actually been able to move final payment dates before all this mess began. I never knew they could until our PVP did it for us a few months ago. The final payment for the cruise we took last week was due right before Christmas and we were waiting on a few gift cards we ordered. Their delivery was late because UPS was busy with the holiday season. We could've just paid it with a credit card, but I happened to mention it to our PVP and he said no problem, he'd just move our final payment date back a week. I said, "Wait, you can do that?" Yep, no big deal. I never would've imagined that's something they'd do.

My cruise planner still has the original due date (April 20) for final payment.  😔

Only on sailings through 9/30/20 ... you may have to update to the newest sale.  I did this yesterday and got the $100 obc as a price protection claim.

My final payment did change in my planner after the phone call with my PVP. I had forgotten but my OBC did double from $50 to $100 on my cabin and from $75 to $100 on my daughter’s cabin. The old Early Saver rate was $25 per person and the new one is $50 per person for the first two so $100 per cabin. It was a win win!

Glad to hear you were able to get your PVP to handle this. We have been contacting our PVP since yesterday with no response so I wasn't sure they would be able to do it.

Me, too. 😠

I called Carnival and surprisingly, I only had to wait on hold for about 5 minutes. They were able to re-book our June cruise under the new early savor promo. We now have until 30 days out to make our final payment. 😀

I am scheduled to cruise on July 5th. I am going to call my PVP tommorrow and see if I can move my final payment date since 1 room is scheduled for final payment on March 27 and the other 2 rooms are due on April 11. Hopefully I will be able to move the final payment dates.

I called a few days ago and asked them to move my final payment date (today) for my June 19th cruise and they said no. I asked about rebooking with the new Early Saver deal, but it would have cost me hundreds more for the same cabin, so I opted not to do that. I guess I didn't ask the right person!!!  Maybe I should have gotten a PVP?

Oh well. The charges hit my card this morning. Fingers crossed we can cruise in June!

We have 2 cabins booked under ES rate for July 27th sailing.  I asked my PVP about moving my final payment date, but was told he couldn’t change it because it only applies to new bookings. I planned on buying gift cards to pay off the cruise, but think I should wait.

I would love that option.  But when I checked it would cost me $700 if I chose to change.

$200 more on cruise fair and the lost of $500 OBC for a casino deal

It works on cruises after that date.  I applied it to my 1/10/21, 1/17/21, and 1/15/22 cruises.

Emailed my PVP yesterday afternoon around 3:30 asking about possible options to cancel my June 27th cruise on the Panorama because my final payment was due this week. She called me back within 45 minutes and said she already moved my booking to a new rate and my final payment won't be due until 30 days before sailing, May 28th. Plus she got Me an additional $150.00 off each cabin and I went from $50.00 OBC on each cabin to $100.00. This is on top if the $500.00 I got taken off my rate last week. Good stuff, I love my PVP.

I filled out the Price Protection form yesterday and got an email last night that our due date was extended. It's a good thing, too, because if it takes 90 days to get a refund for the cruise we cancelled we might get the money just in time to pay for the rebooked cruise!

My final payment is the same date. Is your trip scheduled for July 4? I would like to push back my final payment date also.
