Pages 42 and 43 address this; there is no need for a 2 week notice

reviewed both pages and only found this on #1065

Apparently the Broward County commissioners are going to meet on Tuesday to discuss the options."

Is there something more?  Otherwise, it sounds like a workshop type of meeting.

Yes, why not let the Zaandam dock and get those two critical passengers off?

Do it NOW - STAT - ASAP.

I don't think the number is two <?> HAL may be working on getting the resources necessary to the pier to meet the number who need critical care.

Latest figures have 10 critical with 2 of those on ventilators.

This site says these Zuidy and Roterdaam are scheduled, not confirmed.

Sure you mean Zaandam.

Yeah the times have been saying scheduled. Not yet confirmed. Both ships are out off the cost too far at the moment to be able to see them on the SE cam.

There aren’t. Single largest group by nationality are US at 306, Canadians, ay 265, UK at 228, AU/NZ at 120 the remainder of all nationalities are less than just the number of US citizens.

The ship left Ft Lauderdale I think in Feb. Disembarked some  and took on new passengers March 7 in Buenos Aires. Next scheduled itinerary passenger change for those not doing the around the horn full SA cruise was to be Santiago Chile March 23. Holland along with other cruise lines shut down and started trying to get passengers home before reaching Santiago but Chile refused to let the passengers disembark and fly home from either the port before San Antonio or San Antonio so the ship headed straight for its final destination of Ft Lauderdale where it had been due to dock April 7. Asking ports it had been scheduled to stop at along the way to allow them to dock so passengers could get home sooner. Nobody let them dock and it took a lot of pressure to get Panama to let them through the canal. Which was transited in record breaking time.

When these folks left whether from Ft Lauderdale or to board in Buenos Aires in early March there were no travel advisories for their itinerary only fro Asia and even then not all Asian countries. So let’s quit applying hindsight and get people home.

For @LHT28 repeat of a previous post.

That was two days ago 😉 They were going to meet again today to approve the final game plan. That is what we're, and more importantly, Zaandam and Rotterdam, are waiting for

Nothing was happening on their website earlier.  I will look again.

Copper - are you sure things are held up for the Commission's approval?  That is all we are all waiting for?

On MSNBC they just said that the "paperwork" has not been signed off yet and that the ships will not be entering until that is done.

The ships seem to be about 15 miles out at sea.

the majority of the current passengers boarded March 6 in SA and that cruise was suppose to ultimately end in FL.

@Michaeludine

Unified Command conferenced last night and reached conditional approval of Carnival’s Plan, subject to approval between Broward and Carnival. Final document will be released this morning. As of now, ships remain outside US Waters. Look forward to seeing a SAFE plan for all to resolve
