May 2020 Update: HAL Dry Docks, Charters & Groups

Cruisers are posting that they are booking cruises for this year's Caribbean season and onwards so here is an update of the Dry Dock, Charter and Groups file.  

The charters and group sailings organisations have been slowly updating their plans, so the information listed here may change over the coming months.

Zaandam and Amsterdam have missed their dry docks which were scheduled to happen in April and May 2020 and as yet no updated scheduled dates are available.

Here's an update for this listing:

Eurodam:  31 January 2021 – 07 February 2021 : Caribbean : Sandy Beaches Cruise & Sporthorse Cruise?   

 

Sporthorse Cruise group is now scheduled for February 21-28, 2021 on the Eurodam.

When the Eurodam was chartered for the January 31 sailing, HAL graciously offered us alternate dates.

Our guest speakers were available for the new dates, and our guests are looking forward to another 

great cruise.

I noticed there were no cruises for the Veendam April 24, 2021 thru May 8, 2021.  Is there a charter for this time period or a dry dock?   Thanks!

This is only one of many 'discrepancies' in the currently published HAL website.  There are other ships with gaps in itineraries like this one for Veendam.  There are also 'double bookings' where recently chartered cruises are still shown as available to book on the HAL website and cruises which are no longer chartered are still not shown as available on the HAL site.

We just must wait until some sort of normality returns and we know which cruises will go and which will be postponed.
