i would like to thank all of you for your input. i know you are waiting for my decision. lol

i am 90% sure i am doing the FLL to BCN in april. the reasons are.

it is not hurricane season

it will be nice to go in the spring

it  is a 15 day cruise as opposed to a 14 day cruise.

the time change is at sea.

it is in april and and so sooner

again thank you

Is that the Zuiderdam TA?  I think there’s also another one ending in BCN. I’m looking at them, myself.   If you can do it, definitely stay a couple of days or so in Barcelona and enjoy the city post cruise.

I recommend a Terrace room at the Hotel Colon.  Lots of nice hotels in BCN, though 😉

We're booked on the Zuiderdam BCN to FLL in November - we always book at least 5 days in BCN pre cruise; there's so much to see and do!

Smooth Sailing!  🙂🙂🙂

West on QM2. You gain time plus get to experience the NYC sail in early in the AM.

Seeing the Statue of Liberty is a special experience.

Good morning!

Looking at our first sailing into Brooklyn from Southampton--do you know which side of the ship the statue is on when you sail into NYC?

Thanks in advance!

For HAL definitely on the port side.  QM2 docks in Brooklyn and it's pretty much on the port side but as she approaches the terminal she turns towards the sea and the views move to starboard.
